LUV DOGS - that's what Bev Weaver does. Before opening up LUV DOGS present location in the spring of 2004, Bev Weaver had owned and operated Paws & Claws Dog Grooming and Supply in Downtown Overland Park, Kansas since 1994. Prior to that she was a groomer for several local veterinarians, but owning her own dog related business was what she had always wanted so when opportunity knocked, Bev answered.

And so now she enjoys every day being surrounded by her furry friends. She bathes and grooms about eight dogs a day, which could easily calculate to well over twenty thousand baths she, and her assistant, Rebecca Dallam, have given over the years. Rebecca is also a professional groomer, and between the two of them, they have the experience to make almost any dog look it's very best.

Luv Dogs specially designed bathing room has a large, raised bathtub, with steps for easy entry and exiting onto a drying table where every dog is hand dried with a power blower. Your dog is then taken to the groom table where it is buffed and fluffed and made beautiful again. Luv Dogs offers All Breed Grooming, with, of course, the exception of the very large breeds which are too hard to handle, or those dogs who are too unruly or overly aggressive. Trimming nails is a part of the job, though it can be purchased as a separate service.

Luv Dogs uses only the finest, non-allergenic shampoos and conditioners and they are on the constant lookout for the new and improved products that will be better for your dog. Flea baths are given as needed, but no dips or harsh chemicals are ever used. Luv Dogs Grooming is open from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Thursday and will open a little early or stay just a little late as is needed to service our customers. Luv Dogs usually stays booked a few days in advance, so be sure to call ahead to schedule your appointment.

Day Care
When you get home from a long day at the office, does your dog drive you crazy from being home alone and bored all day, day after day, week after week? Then give your best friend a treat to a Dogs Day Out. Bring Fido in for a day of fun and play with other dogs in our indoor training/playroom and our outside exercise/play area. We have lots of toys to have fun with, chew bones to naw on, tunnels to run through, and other dogs to play with. A day of fun at LUV DOGS will keep your dog well socialized and active and let you say "Good Bye" to the crazies of a lonely, bored dog. Your dog will really LUV you for a day out at LUV DOGS.
