LUV DOGS began in the early 1980's. Bev Weaver began her training experiences as a teenager working with horses. She showed Tennessee Walker and Quarter horses, and competed in barrel racing and pole bending events.
By the mid-1970's, Bev started training dogs and by the early 80's was winning AKC obedience titles. Always an eager learner, and an excellent teacher as well, Bev has since instructed hundreds of students. She has won numerous titles in the various fields of canine competition, including Obedience, Agility, Herding, Tracking, AKC Hunt Tests, and Conformation.
Bev is a very versatile competitor and trainer and has been associated with numerous area kennel clubs. She has been awarded the AKC's most prestigious and highly touted Obedience Trial Championship (OTCH), as well as two Master Agility Championships (MACH), making her one of just a handful in the Kansas City area to have done so. She also holds a Championship in the Conformation ring with her Border Collie.
Bev's dogs have been seen in television commercials, on billboards, greeting cards, dog food bags and in nationally distributed magazines.
